The beautiful Gold Coast which is part of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics was the venue for the Australian Youth National Championship to decide on the Australian Team travelling to Turkey for the Youth World Championships 2023.
Australia, one of the top teams at the 2022 YWC in Malaysia, again, will travel with a strong delegation to Turkey. Muaythai Australia, the sole governing body of Muaythai in Australia, will continue with their youth development work to ensure that Australia will continue to grow towards the senior level.
Youth participants came from all over Australia and for some, it would have been easier to fly to Thailand then fly from west to east.
Muaythai Queensland, the organizer of the event, stated that the event exceeded all expectations.
